Expertly woven by female artisans in Morocco, our open weave basket in an oval shape features pretty plaited leather handles. The sage colour leather handles are dyed, plaited and stitched by hand in celebration of traditional craftsmanship. 

Widely described as wicker baskets or straw baskets, our shopping baskets are in fact woven using locally sourced natural palm leaf.  Our functional palm leaf tote shoppers and storage baskets are handwoven in rural villages in the north of Morocco and the region around Marrakech. 

Strong enough to use as an everyday bag we love the stylish practicality of this market shopping basket. A sustainable and eco-friendly, natural tote bag for those of us who like to support slow craft, consciously made.
